It is quite obvious that quality control on this product is non-existent.
Before I used paint in these guns, I used water to determine if the guns
sprayed a useable pattern.
First, I had a miserable time attaching the lid on the large gun. The lid and cup machining leave a lot to be desired. The lid will cross thread 95% of the time
and then you have a terrible time removing the lid. I used 600 grit sand paper to
polish the aluminum so the lid would attach without difficulty. Still it has a
tendency to cross thread.
Secondly, the large cup leaked at the cup base allowing water to drip down the side
of the gun. When trying to tighten the cup, the brass connector broke
making the gun totally useless. The brass connector is a pathetically designed excuse
for a connector. The only brass material present is the thread itself, and maybe 2 thousandths of material, which is not thick enough to even, allow 2 inch pounds of torque before it will break. Furthermore, the sealant used should have been a more pliable material (RTV) instead of the super glue that was used. The connector needs to be made of thicker brass or made of stainless steel.
Thirdly, the small gun drips at the tip, which makes the gun totally worthless.
Either the 1.2 tip or the needle is not machined correctly. Needless to say, no quality control check was made on the operation of this gun.
Fourthly, the wrench that comes with this set is absolutely the worst punched
piece of metal that I have ever seen in my life time. I haven't checked out all the punched socket holes but I have not found one that fits anything on the gun. Also the parts sent with the wrench fit nothing on either gun. Again, we accept more junk from China.
Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the quality of this product and if we must continue getting this garbage from countries like China, let's get some form of quality control to be sure the product is worth the money we spend.
These items are so defective, and if they cannot be repaired to my satisfaction, I would think you should be required to pay the return postage and refund my money in full.
I am enclosing a copy of the original sales slip. Please let me know of your intentions.
Now, here is the kicker. I packaged the guns and mailed them to the address that listed in the pamphlet that came with the guns. It cost $16.44 to mail this junk back. The company does not exist or has been relocated. This is a total rip off!
If you are looking to buy this gun, DON'T. This should be sent back to China and tell them where to put it. If anyone out there knows where I can send this, please let me know. I am really ticked off about this.
